E.A.R™ Ultrafit Pre-Moulded Ear Plugs

Non-toxic, non-allergenic, pre-moulded elastomer plug that will provide continuous user comfort. Flanges increase contact area to enhance sealing and attenuation.

• Can be used with or without cord.
• Attenuation: high = 26dB; medium = 22dB; low = 20dB.
• SNR: 25dB.
• Conform to EN 352-2: 2002.

Definitions:

dB - the decibel (dB) or noise unit, expressed on a logarithmic scale. An increase of 3dB will in reality double the noise level.

Attenuation - indicates the reduction in noise level. The higher the attenuation number then the higher the noise reduction level.

Simplified Noise Reduction (SNR) - following testing, products are given a SNR, a calculated figure which indicates approximately the average attenuation over all frequencies. For example, in an environment measuring 90dB(c) a product with 30 SNR will result in the effective A-weighted sound pressure level inside the protected ear to 60 DB(a)
